Private Client

Recognising and responding to the needs of the firms established commercial client base, we are now able to extend our range of services by the establishment of a private client department, providing advice and representation on all aspects of Private and Family issues.

The Private Client Department is headed by Alexandra Mattur who we are delighted to welcome to the firm. Alex has 15 years post qualification experience and is a member of The Law Society Family Law Panel and The Resolution Specialist Accreditation Scheme (Advanced Financial Provision I and Children Law Private).  She has also long been a member of Resolution (previously the Solicitors Family Law Association) and adheres to their Code of Practice.
The Code requires practitioners to take a constructive and objective approach to case management, emphasising the advantages of effective negotiation to avoid both escalating costs and acrimony often associated with litigation in this field. 

Alex is also an accredited collaborative lawyer, a process similar to "round table negotiations", which follows the American trend particularly recognised by the higher asset and/or business client base.  This process involves a commitment by both parties and their legal representatives to reaching agreement in joint meetings without involvement of the Court.
